PLAYGROUND

"Playground" es una exposición colectiva que reúne a cuatro artistas urbanos de Barcelona. Esta muestra rompe con los códigos expositivos más hegemónicos, para ofrecer una propuesta innovadora: intervenir en las paredes de la sala como si se trataran de cualquier espacio abandonado. Los autores experimentaran creativamente, jugando con los materiales, las técnicas y los soportes, incluyendo instalaciones, pintura y objetos artísticos.

Para fundamentar este proyecto, tomamos como punto de partida, la afirmación de la muerte del arte clásico y la consiguiente confirmación, que el arte tiene un porvenir, se puede salvar a través de conceptos como el de juego. La exposición recoge una serie de producciones no tan típicas sino más espontáneas y festivas, siguiendo el hilo conductor de este concepto. Bajo un denominador común, el que implica el proceso creativo de los artistas Camil Escruela, Morise Arte, Lucciano Pineal y Siuk, es el aspecto que determina si se encuentran o no en relación con el juego. Se rigen por procesos creativos similares, experimentan creativamente, partiendo de un impulso natural, des del impulso lúdico, dejando espacio para el azar, la espontaneidad y la improvisación. El juego se basa en la acción libre de las facultades de conocimiento, imaginación y comprensión. Nos invitan a conocer el mundo a través de nuestra subjetividad, de una manera más lúdica y libre.

Playground is a colective exhibition featuring four emerging urban artists of Barcelona. This mixed media exhibition disrupts the norms of the gallery to submit a brand new proposal: invade the white walls as if they were those of any abandonned public space.

The starting point for this project is the affirmation of the death of classical art and the consequent confirmation that art does have a future, and that it can be saved through concepts such as play. The exhibition compiles a series of productions that are not so typical, but rather more spontaneous and festive, following the common thread of the concept of play. Under a common denominator, what is involved in the creative process of the artists Camil Escruela, Morise Art, Lucciano Pineal and Siuk, is the aspect that determines whether or not they are in relation to play. They are governed by similar creative processes, they experiment creatively, starting from a natural impulse, from the playful, playful impulse, leaving room for chance, spontaneity and improvisation. Play is based on the free play of the faculties of knowledge, imagination and understanding. We are invited to get to know the world through our subjectivity, in a more playful and free way.
