OSONA ART I MUR EN PRATS DE LLUÇANÉS
Osona Art i Mur es un proyecto impulsado por Osona Turisme, dirigido por Transit Projectes, curado y producido por B-Murals., para crear una nueva línea de valor patrimonial en cinco pueblos rurales de Osona a través del arte en espacio público.
Prats de Lluçanès es la ciudad considerada capital del Lluçanès. Un municipio culturalmente dinámico, con una fuerte tradición de producción y transporte de lana, vinculada a la transhumancia que se remonta en los siglos XVI y XVVII. A través de Osona Arte y Mur, renueva su apuesta para ser un polo cultural importante en la comarca.
La temática escogida por el proyecto de arte urbano son las fiestas de San Juan, la lana y el Contrapàs.
Osona Art i Mur is a project iniciated by Osona Turisme, directed by TTransit Projectes, curated and produced by B-Murals, to create a new line of heritage value in five rural villages of Osona through art in public spaces.
Prats de Lluçanès is considered the capital town of Lluçanès region. A culturally dynamic municipality with a strong tradition of wool production and transport, linked to transhumance that dates back to the 16th and 17th centuries. Through Osona Art and Mur, the town is renewing its commitment to be an important cultural centre in the region.
The themes chosen for the urban art project are the festivities of San Juan, wool and the Contrapàs.

MURAL INTERVENTIONS IN PRATS DE LLUÇANÈS
ZOER
Zoer es un artista francés de importante trayectoria en el graffiti. Inició su carrera como parte del colectivo CSX con Mat Velvet hasta hace unos años, cuando ambos empezaron a desarrollar su trayectoria profesional por separado.
En el estilo de Zoer se nota la influencia de CSX por el trabajo de los colores, aunque ha ido desarrollando un estilo más pictorico, aproximandose en muchos de sus trabajos hacia la abstracción.
A pesar de que el trabajo de Zoer este marcado por temáticas de los suburbios y la variedad de superficies intervenidas como punto de inovación, ha sabido tratar perfectamente la temática tradicional propuesta por el pueblo de Prats de Lluçanés; la trashumancia, la lana y su transporte.
El mural representa un ovillo de lanas capturado con una fotografía y tratado de acuerdo al estilo del artista y su personalidad cromática. Ha producido un mural tratando lo figurativo y acercándose a la abstracción. Así pués, el artista ha sabido producir un mural que se adapta perfectamente al entorno de Prats de Lluçanes y sus temáticas, sin dejar de lado su seña de identidad artística.
Zoer is a French artist with an important trajectory in graffiti. He began his career as part of the CSX collective with Mat Velvet until a few years ago when both began to develop their careers separately.
In Zoer's style, the influence of CSX is noticeable in the work of colours, although he has been developing a more pictorial style, moving in many of his works towards abstraction.
Although Zoer's work is marked by suburban themes and the variety of intervened surfaces as a point of innovation, he has been able to deal perfectly with the traditional theme proposed by the village of Prats de Lluçanés; transhumance, the wool and its transportation.
The mural represents a ball of wool captured through photography and treated according to the style of the artist and his chromatic identity.
He has created a mural dealing with figurative and approaching abstraction. Therefore, the artist has been able to produce a mural that adapts perfectly to the environment of Prats de Lluçanès, without leaving aside its artistic trademark.

ARTISTS SELECTED BY OPEN CALL
En el marco del festival Osona Art i Mur, Prats de Lluçanès apostó por lanzar una convocatoria abierta para 3 artistas catalanes o afincados en Cataluña. Una convocatoria con objetivo de dar salida al talento local en un festival de comisariado internacional.
El jurado, que se ha querido exclusivamente del territorio, contó con la presencia de representantes del ayuntamiento de Prats de Lluçanès y del consell comarcal d’Osona; con el apoyo y asesoramiento de la organización en cuestiones técnicas.
Within the framework of the Osona Art i Mur festival, Prats de Lluçanès decided to launch an open call for 3 Catalan artists or artists based in Catalonia. A call with the aim of providing opportunities for local talent in an international curatorial festival.
The jury, which has been exclusively from the territory, was attended by representatives of the city council of Prats de Lluçanès and the consell comarcal d'Osona; with the support and advice of the organization on technical issues.
WEDO
Wedo Goas ha sido parte de la selección de la convocatoria abierta con su mural “El Hacha”.
La propuesta del mural está enraizada en las tradiciones locales y se ha realizado gracias a un retrato fotográfico hecho por el artista a su llegada a Prats.
“Cada 23 de junio, en Prats de Lluçanès, la tradicional marcha de antorchas finaliza en la plaza donde se ubica el mural, con ellas los vecinos prenden fuego a la hoguera de San Juan para después bailar a su alrededor el Contrapàs.”
Wedo Goas has been part of the open call selection with his mural "El Hacha".
The mural proposal is rooted in local traditions and has been made thanks to a photographic portrait taken by the artist upon his arrival in Prats.
"Every June 23, in Prats de Lluçanès, the traditional torchlight march ends in the square where the mural is located, with them the neighbors set fire to the bonfire of San Juan and then dance around it Contrapàs.”

Sergi Bastida es uno de los 3 artistas locales seleccionados por convocatoria abierta para pintar las paredes de Prats de Lluçanès.
RESILIENCIA
El mural es una representación y crítica a la cultura del caballo y al maltrato animal.
Se pueden ver 3 caballos representados gradualmente del más sano hasta llegar a un caballo con la espalda curvada o ordosis equina. El tercer caballo representa una consecuencia habitual del montaje de caballos, que por varios motivos se montan demasiado temprano, con exceso peso o por sobre explotación del tiempo.
El artistadedica este mural a la @fundaciomiranda por la gran labor que hacen a los caballos entre otros animales.

RESILIENCE
The mural is a representation and criticism of the horse culture and animal abuse.
You can see 3 horses represented gradually from the healthiest to a horse with a curved back or equine ordosis. The third horse represents a common consequence of the mounting of horses, which for various reasons are mounted too early, with excess weight or overexploitation of time.
The artist is dedicating this mural to the @fundaciomiranda for the great work they do for horses and other animals.
TWEE MUIZEN
Twee Muizen son artistas gallegos afincados en barcelona desde hace varios años. Con su estilo ilustrativo y figurativo trabajan una paleta de colores muy definida y orgánica. En el marco de Osona ArtIMur, han sido seleccionados a través de la convocatoria abierta para artistas locales en Prats de Lluçanès.
“A menudo en nuestras obras representamos nuestra relación con el entorno natural y las tradiciones, en este caso la festa major y els Elois.
Para ello, representamos a una niña jugando con un caballo, animal muy importante en Prats, y una oveja, en relación a la cultura de pastoreo de la zona a lo largo de los años.
Toma mucha importancia la actitud de la niña, actitud festiva y de juego con los animales, para representar de alguna forma la concienciación que debemos tener para preservar el medio natural y la cultura.”
Twee Muizen are Galician artists based in Barcelona for several years. With their illustrative and figurative style they work with a very defined and organic color palette. Within the framework of Osona ArtIMur, they have been selected through the open call for local artists in Prats de Lluçanès.
"Often in our works we represent our relationship with the natural environment and traditions, in this case the festa major and els Elois.
For this, we represent a girl playing with a horse, a very important animal in Prats, and a sheep, in relation to the pastoral culture of the area over the years.
The girl's attitude is very important, a festive and playful attitude with the animals, to represent in some way the awareness that we must have to preserve the natural environment and culture."

Los murales participativos, uno en cada municipio, fueron parte de la propuesta de curaduría para OSONA ART I MUR, apostando por artistas de proximidad (residentes en Catalunya) que llevaron a cabo su proceso creativo en conjunto con un colectivo local.
En el caso de Prats de Lluçanès hemos invitado al artista Chu Doma para establecer un diálogo a partir de su trabajo mural con los alumnos de Escola el Lluçanès, Escola Fedac, Institut Lluçanès, con el soporte del Fútbol Club Pradenc.
La propuesta participativa dibujada por B-Murals contaba con una primera fase de contacto con la obra del artista desde el aula, una segunda fase de elaboración del boceto inspirado en el estilo y colores que usa el artista interceptado por la temàtica vinculada con el municipio (el paisaje); y por último la intervención conjunta.
Chu es un artista miembro del importante colectivo argentino de intervención urbana, afincado en Barcelona. Su trabajo respira colores fuertes, apoyados en una geometría que tanto oscila entre un desgarrado caos y el orden pulido. Tanto se expresa a partir del muralismo, diseño gráfico, pintura, escultura y multimedia - es sin duda un artista multidisciplinar, sin por eso, en ningún momento, perder su identidad tan característica.
The participatory murals, one in each municipality, were part of the curatorial proposal for OSONA ART I MUR, focusing on artists of proximity (residents in Catalonia) who carried out their creative process in conjunction with a local collective.
In the case of Prats de Lluçanès we invited the artist Chu Doma to establish a dialogue based on his mural work with the students of Escola el Lluçanès, Escola Fedac, Institut Lluçanès, with the support of the Pradenc Football Club.
The participatory proposal drawn by B-Murals had a first phase of contact with the artist's work from the classroom, a second phase of elaboration of the sketch inspired by the style and colors used by the artist intercepted by the theme linked to the municipality (the landscape); and finally the joint intervention.
Chu is an artist member of the important Argentinean collective of urban intervention, based in Barcelona. His work breathes strong colors, supported by a geometry that oscillates between a torn chaos and polished order. He expresses himself through muralism, graphic design, painting, sculpture and multimedia - he is undoubtedly a multidisciplinary artist, without ever losing his characteristic identity.
