La propuesta actual de Irving Ramó camina por las líneas del realismo, desde donde traza un universo propio, invisible, en el que habita la energía que lo lleva a pintar. Combina la pintura figurativa con elementos contemporáneos y en el proceso, reubica elementos que toma de la historia, del diseño, de su atracción por los encuentros místicos.
Irving Ramó pone particular atención en esbozar lo inmaterial. Crea espacios inspirados en la semiótica y la cultura gráfica de civilizaciones ancestrales, una exploración profunda que lo ha llevado a investigar su campo visual y tomar de ellas principios de su geometría, de su cromática y su simbología. Su obra se identifica con un momento latinoamericano importante en el arte y la música en el que convergen el abrazo a la identidad y el interés por las estéticas originarias.
Para el artista, la pintura es un camino a través del que puede acariciar los límites. Ramó profundiza su inmersión en las líneas del pasado para proponer la permanencia memoria de múltiples temporalidades. Hay un juego ineludible del tiempo que condiciona el estado de sus personajes.
Irving Ramó Estrada (1989), vive y trabaja en Quito, Ecuador. Estudió Diseño Gráfico e Industrial, y al poco tiempo de graduarse volcó su atención a la pintura y las artes visuales. Su trabajo ha sido exhibido en ciudades como Quito, Guayaquil, Berlín, Nueva York, Barcelona y Miami. Ramó también ha sido invitado a participar en campañas con marcas comerciales como Adidas, Samsung, Museum of the Future (Berlín).
En paralelo es fundador de -Huma Huma- su estudio de diseño, el lugar donde trabajo Branding y dirección de arte.
Irving Ramó estuvo parte del programa de residencias artísticas de B-Murals en Abril de 2022.

Irving Ramó’s current creative proposal walks along the lines of realism, where he delineates his own universe, invisible, where the energy that drives his eagerness to paint and create resides. In the process, he combines figurative painting with contemporary elements, relocating elements that he takes from the history of design as a discipline, and his constant attraction and curiosity toward mystical encounters.
Irving Ramó drives particular attention to sketching out the immaterial. He generates spaces inspired by semiotics along with the latent legacy of ancestral civilizations, a profound exploration that has led him to research its visual spectrum taking from it its geometrical principles, chromatic and symbology. His work identifies itself with an important moment within Latin American art and music that leads to a gentle encounter between identity and the interest in native aesthetics.
For the artist, painting is a road towards enabling a way to caress limits. Ramó deepens his immersion within the lines of the past to propose the permanence of memory throughout multiple temporalities. There is a game inescapable of time that conditions the state of his characters.
Irving Ramó Estrada (1989) lives and Works in Quito, Ecuador. He studied graphic and industrial design, and a short time after graduating from school he overturns his attention towards painting and visual arts. His work has been exhibited in cities such as Quito, Guayaquil, Berlin, New York, Barcelona and Miami. Ramó has also been invited to participate in commercial campaigns with brands such Adidas, Samsung, and the Museum of the Future (Berlin).
In parallel, he is the founder of -Huma Huma- his design studio, the place where he works in branding, immersive art installations and art direction.
Irving Ramó was part of B-Murals’ residency program in April 2022.
