ZOER
Zoer es un artista francés de importante trayectoria en el graffiti. Inició su carrera como parte del colectivo CSX con Mat Velvet hasta hace unos años, cuando ambos empezaron a desarrollar su trayectoria profesional por separado.
En el estilo de Zoer se nota la influencia de CSX por el trabajo de los colores, aunque ha ido desarrollando un estilo más pictórico, aproximándose en muchos de sus trabajos hacia la abstracción.
El uso de un seudónimo procede del deseo de privilegiar la creación más que la identidad. Como pintor figurativo, el acrílico y el óleo son sus soportes favoritos; los utiliza sobre lienzo o en pintura site-specific para cuestionar el futuro de las sustancias industriales. Formado como diseñador de productos, el estudio del objeto ha determinado su investigación plástica: comprender su filosofía, su función y su determinación le lleva a plasmar en pintura su vida y su más allá. En la época en que los materiales utilizados en la industria se piensan para ser reciclados; en la época del consumo acelerado y cuando la obsolescencia está programada, pinta la decadencia de las formas y los materiales fabricados por el hombre. En una sociedad definida por las posesiones materiales, ¿qué lugar y qué futuro damos a los objetos físicos? Del retrato de los objetos a la cuestión de la huella, su obra trata de explorar el inevitable resurgimiento de formas y materias.

The use of a pseudonym comes from the desire to privilege the creation rather than the identity. As a Figurative painter, the acrylic and the oil are his favorite mediums; he uses them on canvas or on site-specific painting to question the future of industrial substances. Trained as a product designer, the study of the object has determined his plastic research: understanding their philosophy, their function, and their determination leads him to capture in painting their life and after-life. At the time of the materials used in the industry are thought to be recycled; at the time of accelerated consumption and when the obsolescence is programmed, he paints the decline of shapes and materials made by man. In a society defined by material possessions, what place and which future do we give to physical objects? From the portrait of objects to the trace question, his work tries to explore the inevitable resurgence of forms and matters.
Zoer has been part of the curatorship of the Osona Art i Mur festival in Prats de Lluçanès.
