Espai Jove Ullastrell

Proyecto encargado por la Xarxa de Joves del Valles, para la creación de un mural participativo en el espacio de actividades del espai jove Ullastrell.

A través de sesiones participativas, les jovenes usuaries del centro pudieron involucrarse en todos los pasos del proyecto.
En una primera sesión de brainstorming, determinaron los temas que querían ver representados en el mural, aquellas actividades conectadas con su experiencia del centro: hablar, estar con amigxs, jugar al futbolín...

A través de una votación democrática eligieron el artista Edmundo Garcia (Terrassa) para idear y ejecutar la propuesta de intervención mural. Se llevó a cabo un taller de aproximación a la técnica del artista.
En base a las aportaciones de les jovenes, el artista presentó dos propuestas de diseño, votadas por los usuaries.

En una ultima fase de ejecución del mural, Edmundo Garcia invitó a les jóvenes en participar a la pintada del mural.

Project commissioned by the Xarxa de Joves del Valles, for the creation of a participatory mural in the activity space of the Espai Jove Ullastrell.

Through participatory sessions, the young users of the center were able to get involved in every step of the project. I
n an initial brainstorming session, they determined the themes they wanted to see represented in the mural, activities connected to their experience at the center: talking, being with friends, playing foosball, etc.

Through a democratic vote, they selected the artist Edmundo Garcia (Terrassa) to conceive and execute the mural intervention proposal. A workshop was conducted to familiarize participants with the artist's technique.

Based on the input from the young people, the artist presented two design proposals, which were then voted on by the users.

In the final mural execution phase, Edmundo Garcia invited the young participants to join in the painting of the mural.
