Ana Barriga
Original de Cádiz , Ana barriga estudió en la universidad de Sevilla y actualmente está afincada en la ciudad de Londres. Con un surrealismo resultante de una técnica mixta que mezcla trazas de la cultura pop con un estilo trash, las obras de Ana Barriga evocan a temas trascendentales a partir de un esteticismo lúdico y un estilo de lo más transgresor. Con el color como punto de partida en la amplia mayoría de sus obras, los motivos recurrentes en las obras de Barriga suelen buscar romper con la cotidianidad de la esencia humana. Todo esto a partir de la reinterpretación de objetos decorativos recurrentes en la mayoría de hogares del mundo: desde muñecas y maniquíes hasta esculturas griegas, Barriga reinterpreta el espíritu humano dando vida a toda representación de figuras personales.
Con B-Murals, Ana Barriga participó de la exposición colectiva TÀPIA con dos de sus obras junto a una intervención mural en modo de clausura en el espai 30 situado al lado de la Nau Bostik.
En 2022 renueva su colaboración con B-Murals en el marco del festival Osona Art i Mur en Sant Julià de Villatorta.

Originally from Cadiz, Ana Barriga studied at the University of Seville and is currently based in London. With a surge of surrealism resulting from a mixed technique that mixes traces of pop culture with a trash style, Ana Barriga's works evoke transcendental themes from a playful aestheticism and a style of the most transgressive. With colour as a starting point in the vast majority of her works, the recurring motifs in Barriga's works tend to seek to break with the everydayness of the human essence. All this from the reinterpretation of decorative objects recurrent in most homes around the world: from dolls and mannequins to Greek sculptures, Barriga reinterprets the human spirit by giving life to all representations of personal figures.
With B-Murals, Ana Barriga took part in the group exhibition TÀPIA with two of her works together with a closing mural intervention in the espai 30 located next to the Nau Bostik.
In 2022 she renews her collaboration with B-Murals in the framework of the festival Osona Art i Mur in Sant Julià de Villatorta.
