Las obras abstractas de Rafael Gerlach se centran en el diálogo entre objeto y entorno. Su característico lenguaje visual busca la conexión entre superficie, arquitectura y función, así como la situación cultural y social del lugar. A través de esta influencia en la arquitectura, se pueden crear nuevos puntos de referencia en el contexto del mundo de experiencias de cada receptor. Debido a los cambios externos del espacio urbano, el lenguaje de Rafael Gerlach también está siempre en movimiento y permanece así en diálogo abierto con la estructura externa, las personas y el mundo vivo.

Rafael Gerlach‘s abstract works focus on the dialogue between object and environment. His characteristic visual language seeks the connection between surface, architecture and function as well as the cultural and social situation on site. Through this influence on the architecture, new points of reference can be created in the context of each recipient‘s world of experience. Due to the external changes in urban space, Rafael Gerlach‘s language is also always in motion and thus remains in open dialogue with external structure, people and the living world.
